We take on each restoration effort considering not only the architectural and cultural aspects of this historic home and organizations, but also with the understanding that our fellow Club members expect the CCHPF will act as a good steward of the resources entrusted to us. Our financials are reviewed by an independent auditing firm and our investments are managed by an independent financial advisory firm overseen by our Board of Trustees and in line with our investment policy statement.

2022 Annual Report
Our 2022 Annual Report presents the accomplishments of the Foundation past and present, with specifics on the Townsend House Exterior Restoration and financials for the year. The dedication, support, involvement, and enthusiasm for the Cosmos Club Historic Preservation Foundation’s (CCHPF) efforts from our supporters have helped in restoring, repairing, and renovating the Townsend House along with its gardens and historic artifacts.
We anticipate that our ongoing stewardship will result in the Townsend House remaining a centerpiece of the Dupont Circle neighborhood, a source of pride in the community, and a symbol to widen awareness and appreciation of our city’s history.
